Master Blend

Master Blend is an overall gain slider. It fades some effects and scales the magnitude of others, so turning it down reduces the overall effect LensNode is having on the image. It’s the quickest way to find the right level of subtlety once you’ve chosen a lens — set the look first, then back it off with Master Blend until it sits right for the shot.

Overdrive

Overdrive does the opposite. Increase it to exaggerate the strength of all effect layers at once. Overdrive extrapolates past the captured lens profile parameters, so it can push our accurate simulation further beyond how the real lens could ever look. Move it gradually and watch the edges of the frame, bokeh, and highlights. It’s worth noting that under the hood we have placed limits on how much each effect can be “overdriven”, to keep things looking realistic as often as possible. That doesn’t mean you can’t force LensNode to go a bit crazy though. Experimentation is encouraged.
