Accurate profiling
The presets in LensNode are based on a series of data captures, profiled with a high attention to detail.
Each characteristic can be turned up and down, or completely disabled.
They can also be extended and exaggerated beyond their standard settings.
Bokeh Blur Utilises the unique bokeh shape of each lens for edge blur and softening, and rotates it before convolution, making it one of the best lens blur effects available. The bokeh shape from any lens can be additionally swirled or stretched.
Chromatic Aberration Creates accurate separation of color channels that shifts hue from the edge to the center with a smooth falloff, remaining as true to the original character of each lens as possible.
Bloom Brings high performance, accurate, exponential falloff bloom for a realistic softness and contrast. Captured and profiled at 14-bit, this bloom is ultra high quality.
Coma Introduces aberrations that are key to the look of many vintage and cinema lenses. Blurs, smudges and smears the image in directions that change based on position, utilising the unique shapes and hues from actual glass.
Fringing Adds a distinct colour bleed effect to high contrast areas that varies in hue, saturation and lightness across the image, just like real lenses.
Distortion Distorts the image using industry standard methods, with data captured from real lenses. Distortion can be dialled up and down as well as animated, and is automatically scaled to fill the frame.
Vignette & Color Cast Vignettes are profiled to exactly match the real lens when wide open. Color Cast subtly shifts the hue across the frame, just like a real lens.
